The Prime Minister of the Dominion of Carolusburg serves as the head of government for the Dominion of Carolusburg (Carodia-Aurea) seats and selects the members of the Cabinet. The Prime Minister advises the Crown on the day-to-day running of the Royal Parliament and holds semi-executive power over the Dominion, with the permission of His Royal Majesty, the King of Carolusburg. The Prime Minister of Carodia occupies this position due to his ability to control the House of Commons by being the leader of the party that holds the majority.

The Prime Minister of the Dominion gains several perks, such as entry into His Royal Majesty's Privy Council, and also receiving the style of The Right Honorable for the remainder of his time within the Carodian territories. In addition, the Prime Minister of the Dominion meets weekly with His Excellency, the Governor-General of Carolusburg, or popularly known as “Viceroy” (representing His Royal Majesty, the King of Carolusburg), where the Prime Minister presents the Viceregal Box. The Prime Minister, much like other Prime Ministers in the Commonwealth, are granted a personal badge during their time in office which may also be added to their coat of arms.
