The Charter of the Order of Vasas, 2021, came about following a need to establish a higher order than the Order of the New Sarovian Empire. With the continued succession of the title of King of the Sarovians (title), those who abdicate and retire from their activities as a Sarovian monarch, must be duly recognized and as such, by order of His Imperial Majesty Constantine IX in 2020, the Most Exalted Grand Order of the Vasas (often referred to as the Order of Vasas), the highest order of chivalry in the honor system of the New Sarovian Empire. This was codified in law early in 2021.
The Most Exalted Grand Order of the Vasas is represented by an orange sash between its recipients, who are a series of individuals who held the title of King of the Sarovians. They are sworn in and knighted by order of His Imperial Majesty, the Emperor, if they retire. As with the Most Noble Order of the New Sarovian Empire, there are three Ranks of the Order - Knight Grand Cross, Knight Commander and Companion.
The Most Exalted Grand Order of the Vasas allows its members and recipients to show off and indicate themselves to their countrymen and women. Just as members of the Order receive an orange sash, they also receive a badge - a gold star with a portrait of the emperor in the middle, affixed to the recipient's chest. The Order's emblem is a heraldic necklace with the monogram of Constantine IX and the Vasa rose around it, with a gold cross with a portrait of Constantine IX hanging at the bottom (which can be added to the heraldry of all members of the Most Exalted Grand Order of the Vasas).
