Due to the need to establish an order of chivalry to reward the most heroic and gallant of the Sarovian peoples, the 2017 Royal Decree instituted the Holy Order of the New Sarovian Empire, which is now known as the Most Noble Order of the New Sarovian Empire. The Most Noble Order of the New Sarovian Empire is a chivalric order founded by King Carolus XII of Sarovia in late 2017. This being the oldest chivalric order in the Sarovian honors system and the oldest in Graal. The Most Noble Order of the New Sarovian Empire is the Empire's principal order of chivalry into which members of both the civil and military branches are inducted. The Order is represented by a blue sash. However, the Order was very secretive until Constantine IX forced it to reveal its Charter in 2021, and made it enshrined in law.
The Most Noble Order of the New Sarovian Empire is divided into three levels: Knight Grand Cross, Knight Commander and Companion. New members become Companions of the Order, and upon being a Companion for five months, they are promoted to Knight Commander. To reach Knight Grand Cross, one must be a loyal knight for an entire year. Furthermore, the Most Noble Order of the New Sarovian Empire is dedicated to the image and arms of Saint Constantine, a patron saint of New Sarovia. Appointments are at the Sovereign's sole discretion and are generally in recognition of national contribution, public service, or personal service to the Sovereign. It's also important to note that knights can be expelled if convicted of treason, although this is incredibly rare.
The Order is also represented by a heraldic collar with interchangeable griffins (a mix of the Lion Reussian and the Nassauvian/Nafetian Eagle) with their motto described as "Stefan is our Protector".
