The title of King of the Sarovians (in High Sarovian: ''Royo eui do Sarovians'') is one of the main titles granted to the Sarovian monarch since Carolus XII. The title of King of the Sarovians refers to a people (the Sarovian people) rather than to the territory. The title also refers to any Sarovian monarch who did not yet consider it appropriate to wear the imperial insignia and title of emperor, such as Carolus XII or Constantine V, who sought to reclaim the fatherland first before indulging in the pomp and circumstance of imperial reign.
