He was promoted to the rank of Field Marshal and given command of the 1st Imperial Sarovian Corps. His service as Field Marshal continued through the reign of William I until his ascension to the throne in 2019. |

Edward I Vasa was the King of New Sarovia in 2019 until his abdication. He ruled for a day before abdicating to Empress Brianna I Vasa-Nassau. Before his reign, he served in the Imperial Sarovian Army first as an enlisted man and later as an officer. In his lifetime, he held the titles Baron of Narva and Archduke of Vurgos.
